Blake Lively is so crafty! The stylish star showed off some decidedly unstylish footwear on Instagram on Friday, February 19, but she had a very good excuse!
After stepping out in NYC earlier in the day wearing towering Christian Louboutin heels, the Gossip Girl alum shared a pic of her feet wrapped in tissue paper that was held in place with hair elastics.
"When you wear heels to work but wish you just had a cozy pair of socks, but don't. So you make your own."
It's not exactly glam, but it does look comfortable, and that's something almost any woman can relate to after a day of running around in stilettos.
It's been a busy week. Lively, 28, who was in New York to attend Fashion Week shows, but found a few hours free to see husband Ryan Reynolds' new film, Deadpool, for the third time. "He'll need a restraining order against me," she joked on Thursday.
Lively, who shares daughter James, 14 months, with Reynolds, also worked on visual effects for her upcoming movie The Shallows. "Cue the shark music," she captioned a pic that showed her in the studio.
The film, which is due out in June, is about a woman who's stranded on a buoy while being circled by a great white shark.
