Brad Womack, Emily Maynard Have Emotional Farewell

Parting is such sweet sorrow.

In just-released new pics, Brad Womack and fiancee Emily Maynard held on tight as they bid one another farewell with a long embrace -- and a kiss -- at the Austin, Tex. airport on Monday.

After some considerable time away in her native North Carolina, Maynard, 25, reunited with Womack, 38 in his home city for a weekend to reconnect and sort through their issues. The duo was spotted having a cheerful dinner at Austin's Kona Grill on Friday, and bonding over drinks the next night at Fado, a bar just two blocks away from Womack's condo.

"They were both smiling and chatting," an eyewitness told Us Weekly.

Just the other week, an insider told Us the couple had hit a "rough patch" as they tried to resolve some logistical challenges (Womack owns four bars in Austin, while Maynard and daughter Ricki, 5, live in North Carolina.)

Insists Dayla Burkett, Womack's ex from 9 years ago, who still speaks with the reality star: "Brad is a good guy and he is madly in love with Emily."
