Bruce Jenner is focused on his own reality now! Sources tell Us Weekly that the Olympic legend and patriarch, 65, is limiting his interactions with the Kardashian clan.
“Besides Khloé, the Kardashians were not on board with his [male-to-female] transition,” one source says of his stepchildren Kourtney, 35, Kim, 34, Khloe, 30, and Rob Kardashian, 28. “His boys, Brody and Brandon stuck by him, but Bruce feels like Kris and her girls only support him publicly to make themselves look good.”
In fact, son Brandon (with ex-wife Linda Thompson) sat down with Diane Sawyer for the eagerly anticipated docu-special on Jenner’s journey while insiders tell Us Weekly that his daughters Kendall, 19, and Kylie, 17, have not filmed segments. The 20/20 special is slated to air April 24 at 9 p.m. ET.
Still, Jenner doesn’t want his daughters to get lost in the drama.
“He’s constantly buying his girls gifts all of a sudden and everyone’s worried that he’s acting out or trying to buy affection,” a second source adds of the star, who recently revealed on Keeping Up With the Kardashians that he’s managing his own finances for the first time in two decades. Adds the source, “They are all trying to talk him into spending less, but he’s doing things his way now.”
