I pray that all those of us who know Michael, if only as a fan of his cinematic gift's, will also gift him with every power and prayer to fully recover his health as though it were our blessing.

When you smoke it's like sticking your head near a car exhaust pipe and inhaling. It's chemical poisoning. What's so great about it? It makes your skin look like leather, and gives you yellow greenish brown country hillbilly teeth with the bad breath look and causes cancer. If he survives I hope he quits.

I wished Michael Douglas well and hope the 8 weeks of chemotherapy and radiation destroy the cancer so he is cancer-free and back on his feet.

Sounds like Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. which means after this round, it should end up in remission. here's to hoping that's all it is.

Smokers. Yeah, is he still smoking or is this finally going to make the fool quit? His wife too is a pathetic, idiot smoker. Saw a photo of her even when she was pregnant, smoking. I guess they are both trying to kill themselves off with their poisonous cigarettes and leave their kids with no parents. Idiots.

I wish him well but what do you expect when you smoke like a chimney. You can't suck in this carcinogen your whole life and expect to remain healthy. If he really would like to do some good in this world he will lead by example and stop smoking and make public service announcements about the harm smoking can do.

I pray he makes a full recovery. Women who receive oral sex from their partners should be tested for the HPV virus because it can cause throat cancer in the person who performs it on an infected person.

Michael Douglas's doctors expect him to make a full recovery. Why do you have the man dead and buried. The prognosis for throat cancer, if detected early, is quite good.

Its not easy going through chemotherapy but if you have hope and keep up the spirit, you will pull through... and win the battle

  • August 17, 2010 - 5:13am Jesao

Michael i understannd what you and your family must be going through. My sister as i speak is going for chemotherapy today. She had breast cancer and it spread to the liver. it doesnt matter what type of cancer one has, its all the same killer disease, but there's always hope.... she has shown a good sign of improvement. So my prayers goes to you and your family, that they will be there always for you through this difficult time

  • August 17, 2010 - 4:36am liz

Micheal my prayers be with you and your family. God loves you and your family and he will be with you all the way. Take it easy there and you will pull through. God bless and may his face shine upon you during your therapy. Take care I am thinking of you.
