Let the great thaw commence.

Candy Spelling has reconciled with estranged daughter Tori after a long, protracted feud, Candy told Usmagazine.com Thursday.

"We have been communicating," the elder Spelling said during an interview at Spelling Manor, her palatial L.A. home. "And we've taken it to a place that I'm very very pleased with."

Over the summer, Candy, 63, criticized Tori's Oxygen show Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, and said that Tori used her two young children as "reality show props."

Candy later explained that she was hurt by how she was characterized on the show; she had refused to appear on the reality series for an onscreen reunion.

Relations between the two have been icy since before the 2006 death of Aaron Spelling. The widow had even accused her daughter of abandoning Aaron on his deathbed. "That's what killed my husband actually," she sniped in a radio interview. "He just didn't want to live after that. You know, he had done everything ... he could possibly do for his daughter and she wanted no part of him once he couldn't do anything for her."

All that's in the past, Spelling implied Thursday. "We're handling it privately," Candy told Us of their patched-up relationship. "I'm very happy to say that that's how we'll deal with it at this point. I'm so happy. That's all I want to say about this topic -- I'm happy."
