Call it How to Get Away With a Surprise Proposal! Actor Charlie Weber, who appears as Frank Delfino on the Shonda Rhimes Thursday night smash How to Get Away With Murder, revealed in a new interview with Steve Harvey that he’s engaged to his longtime girlfriend — and has been for almost a year. The actor’s rep confirmed Weber’s happy news to Us Weekly Feb. 24.
"After we shot the [HTGAWM] pilot in Philadelphia, I came home and proposed to my girlfriend," Weber, 36, told Harvey on Tuesday's episode. "I did it. We've been engaged for just under a year and I'm taking her to Bora Bora."
Keeping his fiancee's identity a secret, Weber did share with Harvey how he prefers to shower his lady with love. "For me, I like to keep it simple and I like to cook a real nice dinner and just a nice bottle of wine," the star, dad to a 10-year-old daughter, said. "Two people alone, together, in a nice intimate setting and that's what I like to do."
When it comes time to walk down the aisle, Weber's costars will be front and center. In fact, the couple have already started planning their big day. "We just got his email saying 'Can I have your address?' so it'll be very, very fun," Weber's costar, Karla Souza, told Us during a pre-Oscar Vanity Fair + Crystler event Feb. 21.
