Don’t cry, Ashley I.! Chris Harrison is surrounded by gorgeous women all the time — whether it’s in Mexico or on stage in front of millions. That’s why it was super easy for the TV personality to narrow down which Bachelor in Paradise contestant would make a great Miss America during an interview with HuffPost Live on Monday, Sept. 14.
“The first person that came to the top of my head was Tenley [Molzahn],” the Miss America host, 44, said. “I know she’s talented because she can dance, she can perform, she worked for Disney for a while.”
He added: “I know she’s smart. She’s obviously beautiful — they all are. So I’m going to go with Tenley.”
It appears Molzahn would fit right in, too. She supported Miss Colorado Kelley Johnson during the live show Sunday night. “Welp, I just became a huge fan of @missamericaco,” the 31-year-old captioned a video of Johnson talking about nursing. “Good luck tonight! #MissAmerica.”
Molzahn recently appeared in this past season of the ABC franchise. She found herself in a love triangle with JJ Lane and Michael Garofola, but finally found love with Joshua Albers. Unfortunately, their lifestyles and the distance proved to be too hard to make the relationship stick.
“You’re an amazing man. I feel like — oh my god, my heart is beating so fast — you definitely restored hope for me to be able to have a great love and to find a man who is kind and caring and attentive and affectionate,” Molzahn explained at their final rose ceremony. “I don’t think that’s fair for either of us.”
