Make love, not war! Chrissy Teigen revealed to Us in an exclusive interview that her attempt to be an impartial co-host on Lip Sync Battle nearly cost her some goodwill with husband John Legend.
“He was really proud of himself,” she told Us of Legend’s performance of MC Hammer’s “U Can’t Touch This” on the April 2 episode of Spike TV’s hit show. “Obviously, he thought that I went too hard on him, which I did because I didn’t want him to have a leg up. I might’ve been a little tough on him and he might not have spoken to me for a while.”
The 29-year-old model and co-host LL Cool J agreed that Legend’s lip sync-off with pal Common was one for the books.
“Who knew Common could break dance like that?” Teigen said of the rapper’s April performance to Lionel Richie’s “All Night Long (All Night).” “That came out of nowhere!”
But the Oscar-winning duo’s face-off isn’t the only one that stands out in the co-hosts’ memories.
Asked which other famous celebrities gave their all on the star-studded game show, LL Cool J immediately named Julianne Hough (newly engaged to Brooks Laich!) as one of the sexiest.
