Chynna Phillips is back home from rehab.
"After successfully completing her inpatient treatment for anxiety, Chynna Phillips has happily returned home to celebrate her daughter's 10th birthday with her family and friends." the singer's rep, Lizzie Grubman, told UsMagazine.com Saturday.

Phillips, 42, entered an undisclosed facility for anxiety treatment about two weeks ago. A one-time member of 90s trio Wilson Phillips, she has three children with husband, actor Billy Baldwin.

"The whole thing has caused Chynna such stress she needs to rest because of it," the insider told Us.
"I would be lying to you if I didn't tell you that there are going to be some huge obstacles in front of us," Chynna admitted of the family scandal on the Oprah Winfrey Show last fall.

I wonder if she really went away because she was a victim herself? If so I could understand keeping it to herself.
I could have done without hearing the story about the incest so I agree.
Sheryl has some good points so let her have her say. I think the sister should have not told the public either because this story is highly disturbing and this is such a sensitive matter and the family is so much in the public eye. I feel bad for the rest of the family. I heard Mackenzie say she did it to help other victims but surely she would have or should have known how it would affect her celebrity family. I'm sorry if this did happen to her, don't get me wrong, but I think she should have handled it in another way.
To "kc" I'm brutal? I'm evil? Good. I know someone who was horribly abused by their father and it is the saddest thing that can happen to a woman. But Mackenzie is trying to profit from what she calls sexual abuse and that is disgusting. She is only doing this for the money. Someone who has really been abused would not go on every talk show and interview to make money. And if they did, they would donate that money to a charity that deals with abused women, not spend it doing heroin and crack. If that is brutal and evil, so be it.
It would really bother me if I found out about my dad what her's did, but my dad was an phsically, verbally abusive alcoholic, and it's not the children's fault. I went to counseling and it helped so I'm glad she did as well. I know so many women that were raped and abused and many at a very young age. My two sister in laws were molested starting at age 5 by their cousin. It's unfortunately a common issue.
I can understand how she feels. If I ever found out my dad was a pedo boning my sisters..... I'd go to his grave and kill him. That's all the prozak I'd need.
To dt below, sometimes things just hit you later or even if you acknowledge them, you try not to think about painful events. Also, emotions can fluctuate where you feel fine one week and the next you don't feel as well. Chynna seems sweet and well-intentioned. Blessings to her and her family.
I agree with Dana...we all have family issues that we deal with...she needs to concentrate on spouse and family...I wish her all the best.
Well if she knew why did she all of the sudden becoms so anxious? I'm not trying to be cruel but I don't get it.
Spearking from experience, she should concentrate on her husband and children. I have family members that have done things as well. A brother and sister that were into crime and jailed numerous times, suffered from mental disorders and were on drugs/alcohol. My brother killed himself and my mom had a nervous breakdown and died before her time. My sister would call me for money or to get her out of jail, and I had to get to where I just wouldn't answer the phone or rarely answer because it was causing me stress and anxiety as well. I focused on my family and kept busy. She's pretty much still the same but I'm fine now though it took some time. I talk to her but not much.
Celebrities are seldom left alone. Anxiety meds will help if only for a short time. Nothing wrong with it. I wish her well.
Hopefully she can move on, and be left alone. Anxiety is a serious disorder.

I'm sure they wish she would have kept it to herself, Mackenzie that is. I'm sure everything is going to turn out ok though. I have suffered from anxiety and it's hell. I wish it on no one.
My friend's dad molested her for years and she turned out with some major problems with men and was hyper sexual. She had 3 failed marriages. Her mom never believed her either about the molestation. Her dad ended up killing himself after her mom died. It was like the next day. He was obviously troubled and kept a lot of guns around and talked about killing himself years before this all happened. I wish Chynna well. I know from my friend how troubling these issues can be.
Who knows what the family did or does for that matter. I'd like to say she shouldn't worry about them, but it may have some how affected her really badly or she may have been abused as well.
