Talk to us, General Powell! Retired U.S. Army General Colin Powell shared an incredible throwback Thursday selfie via Facebook on March 13.

"Throwback Thursday - I was doing selfies 60 years before you Facebook folks," the now 76-year-old joked. "Eat your heart out Ellen!"

The black and white snapshot shows a (very!) handsome Powell -- who looks to be in his early '20s -- taking a selfie with the help of his mirror. The former secretary of state's younger self looks lean in a sleek vest and tie while standing in front of his bed.

Powell's caption is in reference to Ellen DeGeneres' infamous 86th Academy Awards selfie she orchestrated with Hollywood's biggest A-listers on March 2. The photo, which included Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, and many others, was part of a sponsorship with Samsung. It also became the most retweeted item of all-time.
