She’s doing fine! Just one day after her split from Wilmer Valderrama, Demi Lovato stepped out and attended a UFC fight with her mom and one of her close friends.
The “Confident” singer, 23, appeared to be in good spirits as she sat courtside at the UFC 199 event in Los Angeles on Saturday, June 4, where she rocked a lustrous silver jacket over a black shirt.
At the match, Lovato posed for a selfie with MMA fighter and Dancing With the Stars season 22 finalist Paige VanZant. She shared the pic on Snapchat, writing, “My new friend Paige!”
The former Disney star and the That ‘70s Show alum, 36, released a statement on Friday, June 3, to announce that they had broken up after six years together.
“After almost 6 loving and wonderful years together, we have decided to end our relationship,” Lovato and Valderrama wrote on their respective Instagram accounts. “This was an incredibly difficult decision for both of us, but we have realized more than anything that we are better as friends. We will always be supportive of one another.”
They continued, “Thank you to everyone who has offered us kindness and support over the years. With only love, Wilmer & Demi.”
The pair originally met in 2010 but kept their romance under wraps before going public around 2014.
“He’s this amazing salt of the Earth, sweet, hardworking guy and she just isn’t the right person for him,” a source told Us Weekly of the pair’s split.
As Us previously reported, the “Cool for the Summer” songstress and From Dusk Till Dawn actor announced their split just hours after she attended her great-grandmother’s funeral.
