Fur on fur is not a good look this season. Demi Lovato incited outrage from her loyal followers on Tuesday, February 9, when she posted a picture of herself to Facebook wearing what appears to be a fur coat while holding her dog, Batman.

The shot is a behind-the-scenes pic from her Allure magazine cover shoot from last month. In the beauty magazine the “Stone Cold” singer, 23, wore a black bra and bottoms with a black peacoat. But in the image, which was shared on her social media accounts, Lovato wrapped herself in the brown fur.

It has not been confirmed if the coat is, in fact, made of real fur. Lovato is known for rocking faux fur, and even did so in her sultry “Cool for the Summer” music video.

But that didn’t stop her Facebook commenters from flying into a rage over the photo.

“If that is fur, i am unfollowing the page!” Arka Biswas wrote.

Natasha V Barr added, “See I used to love Demi buuuut seeing her in fur? I'm disgusted.”

More were upset that the pop star chose to wear fur with her dog in the picture.

“i love demi, but holding a dog and wearing some other animal's fur at the same time? really?” Sierra Christina Digna Kemp wrote.

Melanie Demmelbauer added, “Sorry demi but that is disgusting! Fur is the most badest thing you can do! You say you love animals but love to wear a animal who suffert for your comfort?? This is not OK miss lovato! Sorry but you lost a lot from me.”

Lovato welcomed Batman into her family in August after the tragic death of her beloved puppy Buddy.

“Even though my heart aches for Buddy, God did give me another little angel in my life and I wouldn't have him if I hadn't lost Buddy,” the Disney alum captioned a video of her puppy in December. “It just goes to show you that everything happens for a reason and if you stay strong God gives you more incredible miracles. So here's my youngest son.. My little snuggle bug and my little superhero... Batman.”
