Oh, snap! Don Cheadle took to Twitter in a series of angry tweets on Saturday, August 27, slamming Donald Trump for his tone-deaf post about Dwyane Wade’s cousin’s shooting death.
The 51-year-old House of Cards actor unleashed his anger after Trump, 70, responded to news that Wade’s cousin Nykea Aldridge was shot and killed in Chicago with this tweet: “Dwayne Wade’s cousin was just shot and killed walking her baby in Chicago. Just what I’ve been saying. African-Americans will VOTE TRUMP!” (The Republican presidential candidate initially misspelled the NBA star’s name before quietly replacing the initial tweet with another several hours later, this time with the correct spelling.)
While Wade remained silent in response to Trump’s crude tweet, the Twittersphere quickly pounced on Trump for his lack of empathy in the face of tragedy.
Cheadle took the anger one step further and began to directly respond to those who were speaking up in support of the real estate mogul.
Ewww. I hate caviar. And I’m looking up “rich black guy guilt.” Hope there’s a salve for that … ? https://t.co/C6Nb4mnKpg

At one point, the actor simply called Trump out, tweeting, “You are truly a POS,” and before mocking the politician’s poorly executed Twitter correction.
“Sorry. I misspelled ‘die in a grease fire,’” Cheadle tweeted shortly afterward.
