One lucky super fan! After Emma Stone had an endearing moment with Scary Spice (aka Mel B) on an Australian talk show in March, the hosts of the British radio show Capital Breakfast arranged for the Amazing Spider-Man 2 star, 25, to meet yet another Spice Girl.
While promoting her new Marvel film with boyfriend and costar Andrew Garfield, the redheaded star was asked to do a sing off with the DJs on the girl group’s popular tune “Stop” (even Garfield joined in!). To see how the American actress did, they FaceTimed Sporty Spice (aka Mel C), much to Stone’s delight.
“First of all, I have to apologize for the Spice Girls hijacking all of your promos,” Mel C, 40, said to Stone.
“I’m so happy about it, you have no idea. I wouldn’t want to be hijacked by anybody else,” she replied.
After learning that the Easy A star’s favorite Spice Girl was, in fact, Baby Spice (aka Emma Bunton), Mel C spoke to the blonde mother of two about her excited super fan.
“I’ve got a message for you,” Mel C (whose full name is Melanie Chisholm) said. “I spoke to Emma earlier. She says she still has all of her baby doll dresses if you ever want to pop by and try them on.”
“Yes! I would love to!” Stone gushed.
Garfield looked on, amused as his girlfriend geeked out, speaking to one of her idols.
“That’s so amazing! That’s so cool!” he said of the encounter, laughing.
