Can’t beat the heat! Stars should have carried ice packs instead of makeup compacts while walking the red carpet at the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards in L.A. on Sunday, Sept. 20. It was so scorching hot – 106 degrees! – that Olivia Culpo nearly passed out at the Microsoft Theater.
Culpo almost fainted during a pre-Emmys interview with E! News. She bent down behind a podium right before a commercial break. “When u almost pass out on LIVE TV!” the model, 23, tweeted after the incident.
Nick Jonas’ ex was so overheated that she had to sit in a wheelchair. She posted a photo of herself getting pushed by an EMT and sitting across from a stretcher. “@GiulianaRancic @helloross @mrbradgoreski its ok I know u would have caught me,” she added.
Culpo wasn’t the only star suffering. Blindspot actress Jaimie Alexander kept a fan handy, Homeland’s Mandy Patinkin took off his jacket, Mario Lopez perspired through his shirt, and Game of Thrones hunk Alfie Allen looked like he was in need of a handkerchief to wipe the sweat away.
