Prayers and well wishes for Gallagher.

The veteran comedian -- famed for his watermelon-bashing gags -- is now in a medically-induced coma following his Wednesday heart attack, his manager told the Huffington Post.

After being rushed to a Texas hospital two days ago, Gallagher "is in an induced coma and will remain so for the next 24 hours to relax and recover," the manager said Fridaiy.

He is currently surrounded by family, and doctors say the prognosis is good, the manager added.

The comic had been scheduled to perform a show in Lewisville, Texas on Wednesday evening when he began complaining of chest pains. He suffered a heart attack onstage a year ago in Minnesota, collapsing as fans watched.

"I almost died two weeks ago ... these are extra days that I've been given," he told a crown in Boca Raton, Florida.
