"She may say that she's not all that attracted to me, but she calls every night, three in the morning, drunk, 'Hey, George, what are you doing?'" the 52-year-old said to Entertainment Tonight. "[It's] non-stop. And then I just send her a bottle of tequila."
The joke is a retort to his Gravity costar's recent claim in an interview that she's not attracted(!) to the Hollywood bachelor in the slightest.
"He's not everyone's cup of tea," 49-year-old Bullock quipped of the lusted-after bachelor during an appearance on the U.K. morning talk show Daybreak on Nov. 6. "We've known each other for so long, sexy is gone. Not that he's not sexy because he is very, very handsome."
She added: "If you like that kind of dashing, charming, smart, talented, successful kind of thing."
Clooney and Bullock clearly share a special bond together after staying close friends for over 20 years. While promoting Gravity on LIVE with Kelly and Michael on Oct. 3, Bullock revealed that the two competitively rapped to Sugarhill Gang classic's "Rapper's Delight" on set.
Even better? Clooney has "played a little basketball" with the No. 1 man actually in Bullock's life -- her son Louis, 3. "She's a very good mom," Clooney told Us Weekly of Bullock at the NYC premiere of Gravity on Oct. 1. "She takes very good care of Louis. But Louis does prefer a little man time in there."
