Introducing....Benjamin Brady! After ten days, Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady have finally revealed the name of their baby boy (born Dec. 8).
Bundchen, 29, used her website Friday to drop the big news.

"I want to thank you all with all my heart for the immense love I have received here on the website," the supermodel writes. "I am living a very special moment in my life. Benjamin is a blessing and I could not be happier."

Little Benjamin is the first child for Bundchen, who married Brady, 32, ten months ago. The supermodel-footballer progeny does have a half-brother, however: John, 2, Brady's son with ex Bridget Moynahan.

Bundchen and Brady apparently had a different name picked out two days before Benjamin's birth. But the mommy-to-be changed her mind. "She said, 'I don't like that name anymore," Brady said in a recent radio broadcast.

Just because John Moynahan has his mother's last name and not his dad's doesn't mean anything.Tom is still his dad, and if the kids in the playground don't believe that, all he has to do is invite them over to his dad's house to show them!
Brady should just get out of football. No one cares about him. Especially after losing to a team like Miami a couple weeks ago. Seriously if you can win against Miami, you suck. Yes Brady, YOU SUCK! I know a couple who had a baby out of wedlock, but they were together for 5 years. I don't know about you 9:44AM, but I would have to think that a couple together for that long would have had to have loved each other and that the baby was born into a loving environment. Unfortunately their relationship didn't last and the daughter has a hyphenated last name, but her dad still loves her just the same. He later wanted to do things the right way and got married after only knowing a woman for 6 mos. Let's just say that the marriage only lasted for 2 years(he had only known her for 2.5 yrs overall) and a baby was conceived during this time. Are you going to tell me that this baby was born into a better environment than the 1st one just because the parents were married after barely knowing each other? I don't think so and he loves those kids dearly no matter what environment they were conceived in. You must be the wife of a man who has kids from a previous relationship and you tell yourself these things to make you and yours feel more important. Marriage doesn't mean a thing. Many people get married and have kids and desert their familes afterwards.
Ben Brady is going to be the most popular boy in school. Everyone is going to want to come to his house and meet his hero Dad and supermodel Mom. Poor stepbrother, Johnny Moynahan is getting the shaft, if you ask me. I hope Johnny takes it upon himself to change his last name to Brady when he is older. He deserves to be named after his hero father. What boy wouldn't want to be named after a football hero?
You are right Lacy. BUT listen to a spanish speaking person actually say this name and it will sound more like BEEN, but not completely. Anyway I was just trying to get the overall sound and it sounds similar to my ear. Pero, no te preocupes porque tienes toda la razón con respeto a este tema.
i'm not a big fan of these two. i can't get over the fact that he left bridget who was pregnant at the time for this girl. sorry to pick on the newborn but i hope bridget's son grows up much better looking and more talented than his stepbrother. karma.

What was the first name They were going to use it doesn't say that. I agree with the other e-mail, Tom can have any woman he wants and he picks a plain blah older than she looks former model, she isn't a model anymore. Didn't Victoria Secret fire her because she wanted more money. Iam a fan of Toms ,but not a fan of Giselles,Not because she is with Tom, Even before she met Tom I didn't care for her Iam glad Leo dumped her,for a better looking model. Nice job picking on a 2 year old. John Moynahan was born to his unmarried mother, but she was engaged to Brady and they were together for 3 years. Sorry, but two adults who have a child during a 3 year long marriage, there was love there at some point. So to say he wasn't conceived in love like his half-brother, note half, not "stepbrother" is just plain ignorant. Congrats to the new couple on a healthy new baby, but fyi, John Brady left his pregnant girlfriend and started dating Gisele during that time. How is Bridget Moynahan the bad guy? gisele is just a plain jane that has been out too long in the sun, he's better looking than she is.
Tom Brady did not marry Bridget Moynahan because he didn't love her and didn't want to mislead her and hurt her any more than he needed to. Still, he stepped up to the plate, after Bridget gave birth to their son. Tom Brady finally supports and helps raise his son. It's nice that Bridget didn't name their son Donald Duck but it would have been better for the boy to have given him his fathers last name. Instead, Benjamin Brady will proudly get to tell his friends on the playground that his father is Tom Brady, football hero. Johnny Moynahan prolly won't mention his father. Who would believe him? He doesn't even have his fathers last name. Hopefully, when he gets older, he will do what Tim McGraw did and change his last name to his fathers anyway.
