Revenge is a dish best served cold, and celebrity chef Guy Fieri clearly took those words to heart, slamming his harshest critic, fellow chef Anthony Bourdain, in a new interview.
The pointy-haired Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives host had a few choice words for Bourdain in an interview with GQ, describing the Parts Unknown star's takedown earlier this year as "actually disappointing."
Bourdain, 59, made fun of Fieri, 47, on Twitter in March after the Guy's Grocery Games host's Lamborghini was stolen, joking that he'd taken the car and that it smelled "like Ed Hardy in here." And in an interview with Atlanta magazine in July, the best-selling author, who is notorious for his blunt comments, posed the question, "How does Guy Fieri de-douche?"
"I don't like him making fun of people, and I don't like him talking s--t. And he’s never talked s--t to my face," Fieri told GQ. "I know he’s definitely gotta have issues, 'cause the average person doesn't behave that way."
"It's not that I'm not open to the reality that the food world was like this from a few people's perspective," he added. "It's just, 'What are you doing? What is your instigation? You have nothing else to f---ing worry about than if I have bleached hair or not?' I mean, f--k.”
We await Bourdain's response on Twitter.
