Hillary Clinton Releases Additional Medical Records, Doctor Says She’s ‘Fit to Serve as President’

Fit as a fiddle! Hillary Clinton released additional medical records to the public on Wednesday, September 14, in which her doctor declared her to be in good health.

“Mrs. Clinton has been seen by me this year for routine care,” Clinton’s physician, Dr. Bardack, wrote in the letter published on the Democratic nominee’s official site. “She has had recurrent blood testing for Coumadin dosing and adjustments. Her blood levels have been relatively stable. She has also had several allergy flares over the past year, which has been a typical pattern for most of her life. In consultation with her allergist, she responded well to her medication adjustments.”

During the follow-up, Dr. Bardack wrote, a CT scan revealed that the presidential hopeful was suffering from pneumonia. (Clinton told CNN on Monday, September 12, that she “should have gotten some rest sooner” before she found herself lightheaded during a 9/11 ceremony in NYC on Sunday.)

Clinton’s official diagnosis was “a mild non-contagious bacterial pneumonia,” according to the letter. “I examined her immediately upon her return home; she was re-hydrating and recovering nicely. I advised her to stay home and rest for the next several days. Mrs. Clinton has since been evaluated by me several times and continues to improve.”

In conclusion, Dr. Bardack wrote that “Mrs. Clinton has remained healthy and has not developed new medical conditions this year other than a sinus and ear infection and her recently diagnosed pneumonia.”
