How Lindsay Lohan Stays "Busy" in Rehab

Lindsay Lohan could be released from rehab as early as this week.
How has she been spending her time?
Designing for her 6-1-2-6 fashion line, says mom Dina.
"Lindsay's busy every day, actually, sketching," Dina tells Extra of her daughter, 24, who checked into UCLA Medical Center Aug. 2 after serving 13 days behind bars for violating probation in her DUI case.. "We're great, we're doing well."
She also has been biding time responding to fan mail.

"She's just thankful and grateful for all of her fans," Dina says. "They have been sending her letters and cards, and Lindsay has been answering them, so we're really pleased about that."

Celebs are also reaching out to the actress, 24 -- including Kim Kardashian. "Yeah, she's been great," Dina says. "I'm friends with her mom, Kris, and they've been successful in their own right as well. We love them."

Her Mother is an idiot for saying this. LL's court ordered in there to "get the help she needs" to learn to live sober, and somehow, she's calling the shots, "sketching" and answering fan mail, and not participating the the program. You don't just sit around in rehab. They normally have a tight schedule all day long which you're required to participate in, and only have 30 days usually, to try to teach you a new way of life and the tools you need to live clean and sober. This makes UCLA look like a waste of time for anyone who's seriously interested in getting clean and sober. LL probably thinks she's court ordered, so they can't kick her out, and she can do what she wants. Really pathetic and sad for people who want help and can't afford it.
A total absence of media **news** on Lohan. Staying in rehab a FULL 90 DAYS, because it's her only hope of survival not because it's perceived imposed punishment for her out-of-control behavior and choices. Accepting that she has a sick relationship with both parents and getting specific help with that. Not WORKING for however long it takes to string together some emotional and physical sobriety from her multiple addictions (fame, ego, drama, work, drugs, alcohol). If Lindsay is really talented, her professional life will be there when she is spiritually and emotionally ready to have a career and not a daily Train-wreck of a life. Oh. And categorically refuse to prostitute her "story" for money. Otherwise it's just a matter of time.
Go figure they are friends with Kartrashians. Geese of a feather flock together. I like how Dino says "We're doing fine." Who the hell is we? No one really cares about Lindsey anymore much less her pathetic excuse for a mother! It's no wonder this kid is so screwed up.

This stupid girl does not have a clue...next time she may be maimed, disabled or dead...she's so full of herself and thinks she is so coy...the sad thing is if she's in an automobile and kills other innocent people that would be a tragedy....no hope for her
It's a basic tenant of recovery. Even if UCLA has been fooled/acted into believing Lindsay is not bi-polar or a hard-core addict, she is seriously damaged by a mother to refers to her as "WE" (healthy boundaries, much?) and a convict father who abandoned and now exploits her. It was tragic to read Dina's quote that Lindsay is "focused on helping others" (yet another sick, sick, sick example of their severe co-dependency, denial, and distorted thinking): NOT GETTING THAT RECOVERY SAYS "KEEP THE FOCUS ON YOURSELF". The way I see it this is Lindsay's last chance at getting help - detaching from her toxic family system - and if she is "working" and "returning fan mail"& "focused on helping others" - instead of taking advantage of expert help, and away from her exploitative mother and father, she is only one drink/hit/dose away from killing herself. Addiction is a progressive disease that has only one solution: a commitment to prioritizing and working the very best program she can.
Lindsay Lohan needs a new manager because the "momanager" she has, isn't working out. Dina Lohan needs to let her daughter deal with what is going on now and not share every detail with the media.It's sad that while Lindsay is in rehab, her mom wants to be in the spotlight. Kinda makes you wonder doesn't it?
they must have magic power at this rehab to cure her this fast.give be a freak'in break! i am not buying this at all. this girl is going to be right back where she started if they let here out this early! she basically did her 90 day jail sentence and 90 rehab in one month.
Must be some rehab if she can negotiate a million dollar deal with OK.....that will give her plenty of drug $ when she gets out!
