Persistence pays off! Jake T. Austin is dating his superfan Danielle Ceasar.
"I'm crazy for her,” the Wizards of Waverly Place alum captioned an Instagram photo of himself kissing Ceasar in bed last month.
"We're young and having fun just getting to know each other," the 21-year-old said in a statement to Us Weekly on Tuesday, January 19. "It doesn't matter how you meet someone — on set, in a coffee shop, at school, or in the business. Sometimes you connect with people at the right moment and you just click."
In 2009, Ceasar tweeted: “I wanna meet @jaketaustin so badly.” According to Seventeen, the duo first met in 2011 at a meet and greet. "Your smile is so cute @jaketaustin,” Ceasar captioned a photo of herself with the Disney Channel star at the time.
The brunette continued to tweet at Austin over the course of six years.
In screenshots obtained by Capital FM, Ceasar, whose accounts are now private, would tweet messages at Austin like “Me & @jaketaustin are getting married. Shhh =x he just doesn't know it yet 😉 yes I know I'm a freak :D” and “redid my walls now I have @jaketaustin on them 🙂 x3.”
