The 36-year-old actor, who has a history of making fun of the ABC dating show, began his series of tweets with: "Crazy rule changeinstead of voting off the contestants, this season #TheBachelorette gets to kill them off."

Hill's death, which occurred after the show had wrapped filming, was acknowledged by ABC at the start of the premiere, with Chris Harrison noting his love of traveling and adventure and dedicating the season to him. The 32-year-old contestant received a rose from Bachelorette Andi Dorfman during the first rose ceremony and reportedly advanced further on in the show.

In another arguably insensitive tweet, Biggs continued: "Here's what I can tell you without watching8 of the 20 guys are in the closet, all of them workout, and 2 can do simple division," adding, "And 19 of them are still alive. #TooSoon."
