On Sunday, the hot and heavy duo landed on a private island in Hawaii -- with traditional purple leis around their necks -- for a vacation.

With the 42-year-old actress' promotional duties for Horrible Bosses over, she and her man can soak up some R & R in paradise. Another reason to celebrate: Theroux turns 40 on August 10.

As it turns out, Theroux's Hawaiian getaway was originally planned with Heidi Bivens, his longtime girlfriend of 14 years. Over the winter, Theroux and fashion stylist Bivens, 35, hit the island of Kauai for surfing, horseback riding, snorkling and more. And in March, Bivens gushed to pals about returning for the summer.
"She was really psyched about a Hawaii trip they'd taken and was thinking they should get property," an insider told Us Weekly. But Theroux abruptly ended the relationship that month and soon stepped out with Aniston, his costar in the upcoming comedy Wanderlust.

I am truly sorry for Heidi hurting over her relationship being over but an so thrilled that Jennifer has found true happiness. She deserves. She has been nothing but classy since the break up. Brad will never be with one woman very long. Jennifer is the best. Wish her the best.
