NOOOO! Jennifer Lawrence — along with almost the rest of Hollywood — begged David Letterman not to exit his show on Wednesday, May 20.
“Don’t do this! No one is sick of you it’s all in your head,” the Hunger Games star wrote on a poster she posed with in a photo on her Facebook page, urging the iconic late-night host to not surrender Late Show With David Letterman.
After all, Letterman did help Lawrence get over her fear of singing in front of people and even planned a fishing trip with the American Hustle actress during one of her final appearances.
Lawrence, of course, wasn’t alone. In fact, almost every A-lister out there utilized the hashtag “ThanksDave” on Wednesday.
Patton Oswalt, who only met the CBS host once, even penned a lengthy tribute to the star, thanking him for “never putting [himself] above the oddness [he] so clearly delighted in.”
Take a look below at all the celebrities who are thankful for Letterman’s 33-year-long career.
