Before “Ben and Jen” meant Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, there was Bennifer. The new Batman, 42, and Jennifer Lopez were engaged from 2002 to 2004, but there doesn’t seem to be any hard feelings post-split. In fact, the “Booty” singer, 45, showed her support for her ex on Twitter on Oct. 11, tweeting, “Feet up…movie night!!! #GoneGirl.”
The blockbuster film adaptation of Gillian Flynn‘s thriller novel stars Affleck in the lead role of Nick Dunne and has already received rave reviews.
Though the couple has been split up for more than 10 years (and moved on to other spouses), they’re still often asked about one another in interviews.
Back in June Bravo host Andy Cohen asked Lopez if she dressed her Oscar-winning ex.
“I did kind of like say, ‘You need to be, you know, you’re a movie star! You should wear a suit, you know? You should do this with your hair,'” she superstar said of her Gigli costar. “For sure! I mean, I do that and, by the way, they do that…guys do that to girls too. Like, ‘I like that dress better than the other dress.'”
Since splitting with Lopez in 2004, Affleck married his Daredevil costar Garner in 2005 and they share three children. The “I Luh Ya Papi” singer married singer Marc Anthony in 2004 and the couple shares twins Emme and Max. They officially divorced in 2012.
