A source tells Us Weekly that Jessica Simpson had a, ahem, windy moment during a business meeting for her denim line in late January. "While one of the executives was speaking in a room full of five people, Jessica let out a very loud fart," says the insider.

Celebrities often marry other celebrities or hang out together because they enjoy the emotions of being insulated from prospective mates in private industry and relate better to people in their own vocation. In the sixties this happened commonly in rock groups. John Mayer may be the Warren Beatty of the 21 Century. He seems to be the common thread or Soup Du Jour desired by female entertainment figures who must like him for one or a number of reasons.
For me, I could never figure out Jessica Simpson's behavioral anomalies such as plumping up as a celebrity should not, possibly drinking on duty and flitting around in a dangerous sexual time constraint which I am simply mentioning as a disinterested third party. The way she presents herself is certainly not reminicent of anything suggested by Emily Post and she is the antithesis of Holly Go lightly and/or any of our First Ladies. Still we must be fair, we cannot hold Jessica responsible for what is a normal abdominal physiological function that is committed by all of us during a typical day. This is not a question of guilt and usually is unstoppable and inadvertent.
