John Cena Threatens to ‘Destroy’ ‘Saturday Night Live’ Cast — Except for Leslie Jones! Watch

He’s ready to rumble! John Cena threatens to “destroy” the cast of Saturday Night Live — except for Leslie Jones! — in a promo for the Saturday, December 10, episode of the sketch-comedy series.

In the clip above, the 39-year-old WWE star turned actor storms through Studio 8H with a blinged-out SNL wrestling belt as his signature tune “The Time Is Now” blares in the background.

Eventually, the Total Divas personality makes his way to SNL’s main stage, where he boasts, “I’m going to destroy the Saturday Night Live cast.”

However, he assures Jones, 49, that he will not mess with her. “Except for Leslie. I don’t want any trouble. I think you’re great,” Cena tells the camera. “That wasn’t meant for you. OK? All right? Good.”

This will be the Trainwreck actor’s first time hosting SNL. He will joined by musical guest, country singer Maren Morris, who is also making his debut on NBC’s long-running TV show, which premiered in 1975.

Cena took to Twitter on Friday, December 2, to share his enthusiasm over his upcoming SNL appearance. “So incredibly honored & excited to host @nbcsnl on Dec. 10th,” the hunky athlete wrote. “Can't wait to be live from NYC on a Saturday night!!”

Watch Cena’s promo above. Saturday Night Live airs on NBC Saturdays at 11:30 p.m. ET.
