The newly engaged couple announced that the former NFL quarterback, 27, will be making the move from Nashville to Fletcher’s hometown of Dallas on the After the Final Rose special on Monday. The brunette beauty, 25, already picked out a home for the pair, and they’re in the process of decorating.

“They were very playful and affectionate in the store,” an onlooker tells Us Weekly. “They liked the larger lounge-style sofa.”

On Tuesday, Fletcher told Us Weekly that a stop at the home-goods store would be one of their first public outings after the Monday Bachelorette finale revealed that she accepted Rodgers’ proposal.

“[I need to] take him to Crate & Barrel because I need him to test out a sofa that he won’t let me buy until he sits on it,” she said. Rodgers joked, “Sit test, a must.”

The duo Snapchatted themselves checking out sofas for their new pad, and the SEC college football commentator seemingly approved Fletcher’s choice. “We like this one … and the couch,” Rodgers quipped of a Snapchat selfie of the future spouses lounging in the store.

Apparently, looking at one piece of furniture was all Rodgers could handle for the day. “We found one comfy couch and he’s done,” Fletcher wrote in another Snapchat.

During their time in L.A., they also grabbed lunch at Katsuya Hollywood with Fletcher’s Bachelor ex Ben Higgins and his fiancée, Lauren Bushnell. Fletcher previously vied for Higgins’ heart on season 20 of The Bachelor, but there are no hard feelings between them. The group dined on crispy rice and rock shrimp, and the ladies compared their Neil Lane diamond engagement rings. According to a source, the couples were filming a scene for Higgins and Bushnell’s upcoming Freeform docuseries, Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After.
