Breaking up is hard to do. Josh Murray is seemingly having a tough time with his split from fiancée Andi Dorfman. After Us Weekly revealed the season 10 Bachelorette and her prince charming had called off their engagement, Murray posted and then deleted an emotional Instagram on Thursday, Jan. 8.
The since-deleted snap was a silhouette of a man kneeling with one arm raised to the sky with the caption: "Lord, help me to have faith in your plan."
"After several months of being engaged and working on our relationship, we have decided that it's best for both of us to go our separate ways," the now exes said in a joint statement to Us on Thursday, Jan. 8. "We are very sad that it has come to this point, but this is what's best for both of us individually. We will continue to be good friends and have nothing but great things to say about each other and wish each other the best." See photos of the couple during happier times.
Fans were shocked to hear the news especially since the couple put up a united front just three days earlier at the Monday, Jan. 5, premiere of season 19 of The Bachelor. Murray even told Us on the red carpet that although they hadn’t started planning their wedding yet, they were “looking forward to…settling down with each other” in 2015.
“Honestly we haven’t even taken a breath in 2014…so once we take a breath we’ll figure out what we want,” he explained in regards to their wedding plans. "The traveling has been really good,” he added. “It's been a lot of fun; we just haven't settled down yet."
