Here we go again! Kanye West announced his plans for a fall Life of Pablo tour during an interview with Steve Harvey on Tuesday, May 3. While declaring that his “tour game is strong,” Yeezy told the radio host that he hopes to inspire his fans in the same vein as George Lucas.
“My tour game is unprecedented,” West, 38, told Harvey. “We’re gonna go out in September, I believe. We’re working on some of the ideas right now. I’m trying to literally inspire these kids the way Disney inspired me, the way, you know, when I saw the original Star Wars.”
West debuted his seventh studio album, The Life of Pablo, in February during his massive, sold-out Madison Square Garden Yeezy Season 3 show.
During his interview with Harvey, West switched gears and also acknowledged the headline-making Twitter feud he had with Wiz Khalifa just before he released Pablo.
“Everyday I actually feel more deeply, deeply, deeply apologetic about that, because I only want to put out positive, positive, positive concepts,” West claimed.
In case you forgot, West and Khalifa bashed each other’s music and families during a scathing Twitter battle in January after West mistook a tweet about Khalifa’s marijuana “KK” to be about his wife, Kim Kardashian.
"You know, how you would feel if someone was talking about your wife? Did I take it too far? You know what, I'm from 79th Street Chicago,” West explained of the heated exchange. “I can't say that if someone says, 'F you,' I can't say I'm not gonna say the exact same thing back.”
