Another familiar face is heading to the ballroom for Dancing With the Stars season 35!
News broke at Disney’s Upfront presentation that internet personality and second baseman for the Savannah Bananas, Jackson Olson, would be joining the show as season 35’s third celebrity cast member.
The series is set to premiere this fall on ABC and Disney+, with a full cast of celebrities and pro dancers being unveiled at a later date.
Days prior to the announcement, Jackson teased his next career endeavor while dancing on the baseball field in a TikTok video.
“‘Jackson when can you share the secret you’ve been keeping from us?’” text over the video read, while Jackson added in the caption, “You’ll find out soon!😅#secret #baseball.”

Eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice a disco ball hidden on the fence behind Jackson in the clip, seeming to hint at the iconic DWTS Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.
“Yall it’s a mirrorball!!” one user wrote, while another added, “Guess I’m going to watch DWTS now 😏.”

Jackson is the third celebrity cast member to join season 35, with Love Island’s Maura Higgins and Summer House star Ciara Miller announced as contestants last month at Hulu’s Get Real House event.
“I’ve been campaigning for Val [Chmerkovskiy],” Ciara, 30, told E! News during the May 4, Met Gala livestream of her ideal DWTS pro. “I don’t know if they hear me, but yeah, sending out some emails, putting my word in. We’ll see where everyone wants to place me.”
Ciara, whose casting came amid an ongoing scandal involving her ex West Wilson and former BFF Amanda Batula, shared that she’s looking forward to trying out the Cha Cha and is also “really excited for a waltz.” (West, 31, and Amanda, 34, announced in March that they are pursuing a romance. The group is set to address the drama at the season 10 Summer House reunion.)
“Very random, but a box step I’ve always loved. Like, I want to be in Bridgerton so bad,” she said, referencing the Netflix show.
Jackson, for his part, has been making headlines recently for his romance with Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak’s daughter, Maggie Sajak. The pair went public with their romance in April and Jackson gave a glimpse of their dating life the next month during an exclusive interview with Us Weekly.
“It’s really cool because we’re obviously living very different lives right now on the opposite side of the country, but we’re able to come together and just have an awesome relationship,” Jackson gushed earlier this month. “I feel like in any relationship, you’re trying to figure out how to see each other as frequently as possible, which is never something that I thought in my past I was going to want to do … but now I really do.”
