Kate Gosselin Fired 40 Staffers in 3 Months

The new issue of Us Weekly reports that Jon & Kate mom Kate Gosselin -- known for being short with her husband, Jon Gosselin -- is even more combative with her family and employees.

Baby nurse Angela Krall, who watched the sextuplets as infants for more than a year, tells Us that the short-fused Kate fired 40 nurses and nurse's aides in the three months before she was hired. A 2005 Associated Press story reported that a pre-TV Gosselin had petitioned the state to extend payments for Krall, whose fees were first paid by Medicaid (Jon was unemployed; Medicaid provides limited assistance to premature babies). "Kate Gosselin said she feels society has a responsibility to help with the children, since modern medicine promotes the use of fertility drugs, which can lead to multiple births," the AP reported.

While Kate praised Krall in the same story, Krall reveals that Kate posted "demeaning" signs in every room detailing rules, and fired one woman on the spot for washing her hands in the kitchen instead of the bathroom. That level of perfectionism also tore her apart from her father, Kenton Kreider, a pastor, after he gave her cribs donated by his parishioners. "They didn't match and Kate rejected them," says a family source. "Things like that caused a rift." Krall, who says all six babies ended up with matching cribs, tells Us Kate "thought they were owed stuff. The money factor was huge."

You can describe Kate Gosselin with one word -- demanding, irritable, short attention span, hedonistic, manipulative, exploitative, hostile and grandiose -- or you can describe her with many -- bipolar.
If its true that Kate feels "society" needed to help take care of her mulitple children because "modern medicine promotes fertility drugs" then she is indeed sick! and since she used Medicaid money (taxpayers money) I believe she needs to pay that money back with interest since she is so well off now! I don't believe the kids "are crying without the camera crew there". I believe Kate is crying because she will miss the money and attention. She is a sick women and a selfish mother.
Kate is definitely no angel, she was extremely cruel to Jon, but under no circumstances does that give him the right to go out and cheat on her. Most things can be fixed until that type of trust is broken. You can fix bossiness and being money hungry, you can't fix a trust issue that comes from someone cheating. You can tell by the way he acts now, why she treated him the way she did. If he was my husband, I would have had to tell him what to do too. How much time does he VOLUNTARILY spend with the kids? It looks to me like he spends too much time flaunting his ~way too young for him~ girlfriend in front of the press, for his kids to see. That might not be his intention, but he knows the press is there and he doesn't care that his kids see what is going on. At least Kate does care about her kids. As witchy as she can be, that's one thing you can't take away from her.

Jon left a bad marriage with Kate. He saw what was happening with all the publicity and what it was doing to his children. Kate became an extremist with her OCD, if that can happen, and it is always about her and what Jon has done or did to her. She makes out like the victim, all the while she has her staff of people to help out with those kids and the like. I commend Jon for getting the heck out of there. He has a better perspective on how to handle his children than she has. It's all about money, her looks, and what's in it for her.

If you saw the show from the begining you would see the complete change in Kate. She went from a pretty, but natural looking gal to a Victoria Beckham want to be. How does that help her kids??? The money is for her, Period. Also watch the episodes, she never stops putting Jon down and is constantly slapping him. Love taps my butt. I think he was the one being rude all the time, Kate was mean but only because he never did anything to help her out, and it doesnt even seem like he was ever in love with her...at least from what i have seen on the erlier shows...
