Kate Gosselin Admits the Kids Are "Acting Out"

Surprise, surprise: all is not well with the the eight Gosselin children. Says who? Kate Gosselin, who admits to Vanity Fair that her kids have been "acting out" in the wake of her nasty impending divorce, the shutdown of their reality TV behemoth, and continuing legal battles.
"I'm trying to give them the grace to see, if they're acting out of line, I'm trying to look deeper into why that is," Gosselin, 34, tells Vanity Fair. "[The kids] don't see it, but it's all interconnected," she says of their misbehaving.

Of Jon his future ex-wife says the kids "Miss him. They say they miss him. I imagine they say the same thing when I'm away."
In the extended interview, Gosselin, 34, also talks excitedly about guest-hosting The View and her potential future in television. "It comes to me very easily when I'm doing TV . . . I laugh that people are like, 'Oh, that must be so hard.' To me it's so very easy!"

Not that Barbara Walters et al weren't initially intimidating. "I felt like I was walking in on their turf," she says. "It took about 39 seconds for them to see I'm not there to take over or anything. I definitely bonded with Sherri [Shepherd]. She has gone through a divorce and she took me under her wing. Barbara was wonderful!"

"It was a huge honor," she continues. "I don't feel really worthy, but if they're asking me, hey man, I'm doin' it!"

86She was horrible on the View. She had no input in the conversations unless she was talking about herself. Now she admits Jon is right that the kids need to be pulled off TV and given the attention they need in this time of crisis for them.
My favorite Khate moment was when she went all over tv after Jon took the money, saying she couldn't pay her bills. In the next breathe she talks about buying a new ring with 8 diamonds and a pearl in the middle to wear instead of her wedding ring (for the kids of course.) Yeah, the bills she can't pay consist of the tanning salon, the pedi/mani lady and the insane hairdresser that keeps cutting her hair that way. Not to mention the new stylish shoes and dress she wore to talk about the bills.
the show and Kate is fake and scripted. Remember the show they renewed their vows all the while knowing they were split up. Bet they laughed all the way to the bank. All you fans of the show should feel duped. Kate is disgusting. She should go home and take care of her kids instead of running around on every tv outlet, um,um, and shame on TLC for milking this for all they can. These actions are not in the best interest of the children. They also say they bought that big house for the kids. The kids were better off in the little house. Kids don't care about the house, they care a bout a loving stable home life. Kate is a liar and all she cares about is HERSELF. Maybe their are so "well adjusted like she says because they spend more time with the nannies and not HER.

YOU obviously live at least part of your life posting and reading US Weekly, and that makes us even. So, all in all, what's your point?
About 5 of all these posts sound intelligent the rest of you sound like mouth breathers, why don't you go watch this moronic reality show some more so these lame people can make more money or go buy her books since you seem to look up to her *rolls eyes* and if any of you watch this that HAVE children... well that is just sad, instead of watching someone else live their life why don't YOU go LIVE yours? Honestly who cares? Why would you? The only thing I see from these people forced in my face by way of news and magazines (I will never watch this show, never have, never will) is that the poor kids are pushed into this freaky circus without any say while the parents make fools out of themselves and show just how low the American IQ is. Sad. I love how people post Joh would never, Kate would not like you are their best friends? Are you mental? Do you honestly think you KNOW these people from watching them on tv? lol wow

If she had any respect for her children she'd stop running around trying to weasel her way into the limelight and stay home!! Her kids need her and their father now more than ever. She's worthless.
why are the kids looks not fair game?
Anybody who cuts down a child's look. Has major problems. If you don't think the kids are cute KEEP IT TO YOURSELF. That has nothing to do with this.
These kids have gotten a heck of a lot of attention, many kids have divorced parents, many don't even have a dad in the picture before they are born, mom flitting around with different men and aren't even sure who the daddy is, and don't have the luxuries these kids have had, and that attention is slowing down. Their in school, and I doubt the teachers are allowing them to be ridiculed.
oh my gosh, i saw a bit of the show last night, and the show, when Kate is aroun, isn't even about the kids, it is about the self absorbed Kate. She had to put 8 birds on her arms. Then she makes a scene in the insect section of the Butterfly World, again, attention on her, then she takes a hot air balloon ride, in high heels, mini skirt and a halter top. She looked so ridiculous, I had to laugh. her head has gotten so big, and she thinks she is all that when actually she looks like a clod.

7:56am Yeah I can see how much Jon wanted to work things out. He started sleeping around very quickly. And how could Kate stay in love with someone whose biggest acco mplishment is rolling his eyes at her. You act like he is so perfect. Well I am sorry but he is far from it. She is way better off without him.
I would do Anything for my children and myself to have a great life. Aside from sleeping with someone who is married and killing someone. I don't know why people think it is so terrible for Kate to want things for her kids and herself.

To Melinda- Someone wanted Jon and he has the same eight kids and he is disgusting. So anything is possible. Even though the girls who want him are also disgusting. I hope Kate finds someone better.
Of course they are acting out. Divorce is hard on children, let alone having all the dirty laundry aired in public. I can only imagine how cruel their classmates are to them.

Kate has conducted herself with respect for her children's feelings. She has not gone on the "Bad-Mouthing My Ex" tour that Jon has. Jon should be ashamed of himself for his behaviour, and it sounds like maybe he's starting to be (i.e. admitting he made mistakes, saying he's sorry for saying he "despised" Kate); however, his remorse would ring more true if it wasn't attached to his motivation for a paycheck and money in his pocket. Shame on Jon for being a vindictive little child when he didn't get his way, and even when he did!
She has caused alot less trouble in the media then Jon. She is much more reputable and private. Jon started this media BS and still does. The children are not acting out as much as they are just plain spoiled. Every place they go they are on a pedestal and treated like royality. They have things most kids only dream of. They are spoiled. They need more of those time outs.
