Single and ready to mingle? Katie Holmes let loose at the 4th annual Apollo in the Hamptons benefit in East Hampton, New York on Saturday, Aug. 24. The 34-year-old single actress was spotted dancing on stage with Jamie Foxx.
An eyewitness tells Us Weekly that Holmes grabbed Foxx and Ellen DeGeneres to join her in rocking out to Lenny Kravitz hits like "American Woman." She also danced along to Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" and Daft Punk and Pharrell Williams' "Get Lucky."
Sources told The New York Post's Page Six that Holmes and Foxx "are old friends." The ex-wife of Tom Cruise and mother of 7-year-old daughter Suri was reportedly dancing all night and was later heard telling two female friends, "I haven't had such a good time in so long."
Other stars in attendance at the benefit included Penny Marshall, Ciara, Anjelica Huston, Jon Bon Jovi, Mary J. Blige, Billy Joel, Howard Stern, Colin Powell, Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie and more. Page Six reports that the event raised more than $4 million for programs at Harlem's Apollo Theater.
