Ke$ha wants her fans to know she's thinking about them just as much as they're thinking about her. The singer, who checked into rehab earlier this month to get treatment for an eating disorder, is currently cut off from social media — but she found a way to send a message to her Twitter followers via a close pal.
"This is Kesha's friend," a message on her official account read Tuesday, Jan. 21. "She asked me to tweet an update for her because she doesn't have access to Twitter right now. She says 'THANK YOU. SOOO MUCH. I'm overwhelmed to tears by all of the love, letters, and support!! I'll be back soon and better than ever.'"
"Ohhh and she can't believe Timber is still number one!" a follow-up tweet read, referring to her hit single with Pitbull, which is in its second week atop the Billboard Hot 100 List. "Fck YEAH animals! PARTY ON!!!!!"
As previously reported, the "Crazy Kids" crooner, 26, entered rehab on Jan. 3, just a few days after debuting her "Dirty Love" music video. "I'm a crusader for being yourself and loving yourself, but I've found it hard to practice," she told Us Weekly in a statement at the time.
The statement continued: "I'll be unavailable for the next 30 days, seeking treatment for my eating disorder…to learn to love myself again, exactly as I am."
