Kim Kardashian's latest fashion statement? A burqa!

Currently visiting Dubai -- where she helped fete the opening of a brand-new Millions of Milkshakes store and took many business meetings -- the reality star, 30, donned the garment and posted a pic on Twitter.

"That's me!" Kardashian confirmed via Twitter beneath a photo. (Her mom Kris Jenner also tried one on.)

Often controversial, the burqa (consisting of an outer garment, head covering and a face veil) is traditionally worn by Islamic women, with the aim of covering their face and bodies in public places.

"Good morning Dubai!" Kardashian tweeted Friday morning (Dubai time). "I'm having the best time here! I got some amazing traditional souvenirs to bring home to the fam, they're gonna love!"

I wish the whole family would cover up like that all the time. So sick of their narcissism, greed and shallow materialistic attitudes.

Gena - you are a shining example of why intolerance is such a problem in the United States. Educate yourself first before running your mouth about something you don't understand....or better yet - keep your opinions to yourself.

What a bunch of cr@p. If American women have to dress in that stupid thing while over there then those women should have to dress like normal people while in our country. If KK wants to wear that, maybe she should just stay over there. It's demeaning to women and basically says those men are no better than animals because they can't look at a woman without wanting to rape her.
