Paging Dr. Kroy Biermann! Kim Zolciak had her husband to count on after she suffered a terrifying mini stroke on Wednesday, Sept. 23.
“All that matters…FAMILY pic taken last night by @briellebiermann,” the Dancing With the Stars contestant captioned an Instagram photo of herself snuggling her hubby in a hospital bed, giving her eldest child, Brielle, 18, a shout-out.
The Don’t Be Tardy Bravo star, 37, suffered a health setback after she landed back in Atlanta following Tuesday’s DWTS performance in Los Angeles. “I got home and within minutes suffered a TIA (mini stroke) the left side of my body went completely numb and my speech was gone,” she captioned an Instagram selfie from her hospital bed, explaining what happened.
“Extremely grateful for @sladeosborne @briellebiermann @nikitpressley @kroybiermann for quick reactions!” Zolciak added, sending her family love. “I have 100% of my feeling back THANK GOD. Still in the hospital but I just know I’m getting released today! #CrazyAgeDoesntMatter.”
Despite landing in the hospital, the dancing newbie got rave reviews from the ABC judges this week. Tuesday night, Zolciak and her pro partner, Tony Dovolani, received a score of 18 out of 30, an improvement over last week’s numbers.
Biermann and Zolciak have been married since 2011. They’re also parents to Ariana, 13, Kroy Jr., 4, Kash, 3, and twins Kane and Kaia, nearly 2.
