Kris Jenner said she thinks it's important for her to let Caitlyn tell her own story.

It’s only onward and upward for Kris Jenner. The Kardashian family matriarch sat down for a new interview with London’s Evening Standard magazine, and explained that she’s ready to move forward.

When asked if she thought her former spouse, Caitlyn Jenner, might have felt intimidated by her during their marriage, she demurred and kept her reply simple.

“I didn’t think so at the time, but perhaps,” Kris told the magazine. “You’d have to ask him. Or her.”

The couple ended their union in December 2014 after 22 years of marriage. But even though they are no longer husband and wife, Kris told ES that she wishes the former Olympian nothing but the best in the future.

“I’m not going to talk about it,” she said of their past together. “I wish everybody well; when it comes to everybody else’s journey, as far as people that are trying to find themselves, this is a very fresh and new thing, so I think it’s important for me to let her tell her own story.”

The momager also jokingly noted that she’d love to rename her new boyfriend, Corey Gamble, “Korey.”

Kris, who recently celebrated her 60th birthday with an extravagant Great Gatsby-themed bash, also opened up about her famous daughters, whom she feels are setting good examples for today’s young women.

“I see us as women who work hard,” she said. “We want to do it all, we want to have families and we want to empower other women — men, too.”

When asked about the fact that the Kardashian-Jenner clan is the target of criticism on a daily basis, Kris was dismissive.

“There’s nothing anybody can say that we haven’t heard,” she said of people who make fun of their fame. “We don’t pay attention. We’ve chosen to take the high road… We are in on the joke. I don’t have any regrets. I always tell my kids, ‘Don’t take yourselves too seriously.’”
