Welcome back! Lamar Odom left Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles on Wednesday, January 6. His estranged wife, Khloe Kardashian, secretly moved him, avoiding any unwanted attention. The former NBA star entered the facility shortly after he was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel on October 13.
Odom, 36, was moved to a private facility that has been set up as a rehab near Kardashian's home. The move was made quickly and without notifying even Odom's family.
Odom recently spent Christmas with his kids, Lamar Odom Jr., 13, and Destiny, 17, in his hospital room.
“Lamar is doing way better. He was so happy the kids were there with him for Christmas and they were so happy to be with him,” a source told Us Weekly at the time. “The kids were happy … to bring him gifts, all of his favorite things that they wrapped up. They had so much fun. It was very emotional and very happy."
Lamar Jr. later took to Instagram to post the first photo with his dad since he went into the hospital, writing, “Christmas with my pops. Here’s to 2016. Blessed.”
Another source close to Odom previously told Us that his condition continues to improve and that he is now walking without a walker. His recovery is nothing short of miraculous after doctors thought Khloe Kardashian’s estranged husband wouldn’t make it through the day when he was first admitted.
"They told me that he had four hours," Kardashian, 31, said on the Today show in November.
