Lamar Odom’s son, Lamar Odom Jr., posted the first picture of his father since the former Lakers star’s October 2015 hospitalization on Thursday, December 31.
“Christmas with my pops,” the teen captioned an Instagram snap with his sister, Destiny, 17, and the former NBA star, 36. “Here’s to 2016. Blessed.”
In the family pic, half of Odom’s face is visible as his children with ex Liza Morales pose behind him.
The athlete — who is still married to estranged wife Khloe Kardashian — also had a son named Jayden with Morales, his partner of 10 years, but the child died at 6 months old from sudden infant death syndrome in 2006.
In October, Morales, 36, and her children flew out to Las Vegas from New York to be with Odom after he was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel. He was in a coma for three days, and was in critical condition.
“The TRUTH is God is good, all the time,” Morales tweeted at the time. “Continued prayers for my children and their father. Thank you for the support and well wishes.”
Meanwhile, Kardashian, 31, has been handling all medical decisions for her estranged husband. “This year has been absolutely horrible, but it’s almost done,” Kardashian said last month on her app. “I’m just praying that 2016 will be better. It has to be.”
Odom is still recovering in a Los Angeles hospital.
