Lamar Odom has signed with Spanish basketball team Laboral Kutxa after his 2012-2013 season with the L.A. Clippers

Lamar Odom is packing up his bags — again. Khloe Kardashian's ex is headed to Spain to play for the team Laboral Kutxa, Us Weekly can confirm. He's set to arrive on Tuesday, Feb. 18. (ESPN was first to report the news.)

Odom, 34, has been signed for two months with an option to extend to the end of the season, a spokesman for Laboral Kutxa, set in Vitoria, tells Us. His presentation as a new player is set for Thursday or Friday of this week and he will attend one of the team's games when he first lands.

"He will probably be a spectator at the match and introduced to the crowd during half-time," an insider adds.

Odom's next move is good news at last for the athlete, who faced several tough months last year. Following revelations of drug use and cheating, Kardashian, 29, filed for divorce from Odom after four years of marriage in December 2013. The couple had been estranged for several months prior to the split.

Odom previously played for the Miami Heat and was traded to the L.A. Lakers in 2005. In December 2011, he was briefly traded to the Dallas Mavericks, and then played for the L.A. Clippers in the 2012-2013 NBA season. Last November, it was rumored that he was close to re-signing with the Clippers.

"The teams aren't concerned about the drug use," a source told Us of Odom possibly rejoining the team at the time. "If he stays mentally focused he can help [to] win games."
