Fans were happy to see Lamar Odom back on his feet and looking healthy when he made his first official appearance at Kanye West's New York Fashion Week show on Thursday, February 11, since being hospitalized last year. But sources tells Us Weekly that the NBA star's two children are hurt they didn't get to spend time with their dad when he was in town.

"He didn't see his kids when he was in NYC and the kids were upset," an insider tells Us. "They were supposed to come out and see him, but Lamar has been embarrassed to call them and they are angry."

Another source confirms that Odom's two children with ex-girlfriend Liza Morales Destiny, 17, and Lamar Jr., 13 — "were very upset" about not seeing their dad.

The problem could be one of timing. The 36-year-old's East Coast trip was very brief — he flew back to L.A. on Friday, February 12, the day after attending West's show at Madison Square Garden with the Kardashian-Jenner family.

Morales and the kids rushed to the former Lakers star's side when he was hospitalized in October after being found unconscious following an overdose at a Nevada brothel. Their trip was organized by Odom's estranged wife, Khloé Kardashian.

They also spent Christmas with the athlete, celebrating the holiday in his hospital room at Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai before he was discharged and moved to a home close to Kardashian's in Calabasas, California.

"He was so happy the kids were there with him for Christmas and they were so happy to be with him," a source told Us Weekly at the time. "They had so much fun. It was very emotional and very happy."
