Liam Neeson Replaces Mel Gibson in Hangover 2

Liam Neeson is replacing Mel Gibson in The Hangover 2.
“It’s true pending clearance of cast and crew background check," the actor's rep tells UsMagazine.com.
Gibson, 54, was initially cast as a tattoo artist. He was then given the boot because all of the film's stars -- including Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms -- objected to the stunt casting, a source tells Us.

The source adds that their objection wasn't just to Gibson's controversial reputation, tarnished more than ever over his vicious battle with ex Oksana Grigorieva.

"They don't want him to be in the movie and serve as a platform for some creepy comeback," the insider tells Us. "They didn't want that energy or to shoulder what would come with having him apart of the film."

I love Neeson, but the reason his castmates didn't want him in the movie is because they are worried they would not get any glory if he was. Jealous little twits!
Smart move casting the ultra-sympathetic grieving widower Neeson in his place. I still won't see it just for the double standard of these Hollywood wanna-be's.
