Putting all other men to shame! Marriage proposals tend to be elaborate and heartfelt, but Dean Smith took it to another level in his new viral engagement video.
Smith’s “365 Engagement” started on Jan. 8, 2014, the birthday of his girlfriend Jennifer.
“Exactly one year ago, I realized that you were the person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with,” Smith said at the start of the 15-minute clip, cutting back and forth between his video entry from the year prior. “The only problem was how do I plan the perfect proposal? One that shows you how much I love and how you’re in my thoughts literally every moment of every day? Then I came up with a brilliant idea!”
Smith took a small whiteboard and wrote on it different variations of “Will You Marry Me, Jennifer?” with the date as a countdown video leading up to his face-to-face proposal on the beach for Jennifer's 2015 birthday.
Set to the soundtrack of several love ballads like Bruno Mars’ “Marry You” and Anthem Lights’ “Best Thing,” Smith held up the sign in a variety of places like his home, work, and even in front of a sleeping Jennifer.
