Marc Anthony: "They Say I Am a Single Man"
It was back to work for Marc Anthony in Bogota, Colombia on Sunday night -- and the Latin superstar, singing in concert for a huge crowd, knew what was on everyone's minds.
"They say I am a single man," the crooner, 41, told the largely female crowd at the Parque Simon Bolivar stadium, who enthusiastically cheered and applauded in response, the Daily Mail reports.
Single he is: On Friday, he and wife Jennifer Lopez announced the end of their seven-year marriage to Us Weekly.
"We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters," the couple, parents to 3-year-old twins Max and Emme, said. "It is a painful time for all involved, and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time."
Anthony kicked off his Sunday concert with "Aguanile," the song he and Lopez, also 42, song together on the May finale of American Idol. Colombian TV network Caracol reported that Anthony's security team took "extreme" measures to shield Anthony from questioning reporters before and after the show.
