Meghan Markle stepped out from her Toronto home on Thursday, November 3, the first time she’s been spotted in public since news broke of her secret relationship with Prince Harry.
The 35-year-old Suits star looked cool and relaxed as she strode out of her home in a large black coat, navy blue beanie and sunglasses, making her way through security cars and officers.
Earlier this week, Markle made headlines when it was revealed that she and Harry, 32, have been quietly dating for about four months.
“They had gotten on when they first met but it was just as friends,” a source exclusively told Us. “They then developed romantic interests in each other and, before you knew it, they were texting every day.”
The pair have even been visiting each other with quick trips across the pond. According to a source, they visited Soho House in London with a group of friends in early July, followed by two one-on-one dates. Over the Halloween weekend, Harry made the flight overseas to see Markle in Toronto.
“He was buzzing with excitement when he arrived,” a Harry pal says of the October 28 trip in the new issue of Us Weekly, adding that a “car was waiting at the airport so he could be driven to Meghan’s house.”
The new couple then spent the next few days holed up in Markle’s pad, opting to stay in and cook together rather than hang out at the actress’ favorite city spots. “It’s very serious,” the pal added of their romance.
Markle even met Prince Charles at Harry’s 32nd birthday bash in September at the royal Balmoral estate in Scotland, sources confirm to Us.
“I’d call the visit a coming-out party,” a source tells Us of the pair’s whirlwind two-night trip on September 15. “It would have been the first time some of his close friends got to meet her.”
