Michaele Salahi does what she wants, when she wants.

The 45-year-old made headlines when her husband Tareq believed she had been "kidnapped or abducted" earlier this week. In reality, she was spending quality time with Journey guitarist Neal Schon, 57, thousands of miles away in Memphis. (An insider tells Us Weekly they reconnected when Michaele and her husband went to a Journey concert in Washington D.C. on September 4.)

How did Michaele and Schon first get acquainted? "They met in 1995 when Journey was on tour and they maintained a relationship as friends ever since," a Journey spokesperson tells Us.

Schon, who is in the midst of Journey's sold-out Eclipse tour, ended his on-off relationship with Ava Fabian last month. Though Schon was surprised by Michaele's visit, a rep for the band tells Us: "He is not hiding that they are together."

No kidding. Michael and Schon are currently in Atlanta, where the band is enjoying a day off before their Friday concert Friday. An insider tells Us that the two spent four hours shopping together Thursday, buying clothes for Michaele since "she left Tareq in the middle of the night and barely took anything."

Tareq seems stunned by his wife's bizarre behavior, the source adds. "Normally you tell the person before you leave them for someone else but I guess she didn't do that."

Well know the man knows how his wife is, let us hope he doesn't take her back.

... and if he broke up with Ava last month then why did they meet her less than two weeks ago backstage at the concert in Virginia? Fishy ...

I don´t believe this story at all. The Salahis remind me of Speidy, Spencer and Heidy Pratt, they´ll do anything for publicity, including sell their soul to the devil. Us, please do more research.

@ Trina, Bravo isn't bringing back the DC women because they were total bores. LOL.

I'm CERTAIN it's all 4 ratings. Bravo will work this into an episode. This was a way 4 her to keep her job on Real Housewives. Unbelievable what some people will do to stay employed in Hollyweird.
