Mick Jagger is taking time to grieve. In the wake of his longtime girlfriend L'Wren Scott's shocking suicide on Monday, March 17 at the age of 47, the Rolling Stones frontman, 70, has canceled a Wednesday Rolling Stones concert in Perth, Australia, reps confirmed early Tuesday. (Ticket holders "are asked to to hold onto their tickets until a further update is available," a statement said.)

An insider told Us Weekly that the rock 'n roll legend is "terribly devastated," and "inconsolable" following the death of his love of nearly 13 years, and had been making plans to fly back to NYC -- Scott hung herself in her Manhattan apartment -- as soon as possible. The "Start Me Up" singer is also getting support from other loved ones. Model Georgia Jagger, his 22-year-old daughter with ex Jerry Hall, canceled a scheduled runway appearance for designer Camilla in Melbourne, Australia this week, and likewise flew back to NYC.

Mick Jagger's rep was also quick to slam a claim in the New York Post that he and Scott had broken up shortly before she took her own life. "The story in the New York Post re a split between Mick Jagger and L'Wren Scott is 100 percent untrue," the rep tells Us. "There is absolutely no basis in fact to this story. It is a horrible and inaccurate piece of gossip during this very tragic time for Mick."
