The singer, 16, stands by her decision to quit Twitter by posting a YouTube video in which she raps her reasons for signing off the micro-blogging site.

In the choreographed video (watch above), the Hannah Montana star sings that "the rumors are true" that she deleted her account.

"I had to say goodbye, and this little rap is to tell my fans why," she says.
On Thursday, she posted one of her final Twitter messages, saying that her new beau, Last Song costar Liam Hemsworth, disapproved of the site.
"Liam doesn't have a Twitter and he wants me to delete mine with good reason," she Twittered.

Still, Cyrus asserts in the video that he wasn't the catalyst.
"It wasn't because my friend told me to," she says. "I stopped living for moments and started living for people... I want my private life private. I'm living for me."

She's so stupid, but I love her. She's trying to stop the non existent rumors. She twitters, she youtubes but hey leave her alone she's just trying to keep it private.
I think it is a funny and cute way to explain to her fans that she didn't just leave them and twitter for no reason, but is doing what is right for her life. You have to remember her fans are kids so that is who this video is catering to. She is so right though, twittering about every little thing is ridiculous and people get quite obsessed with it, which isn't healthy, also the tabloids do turn twittering into news, so why feed them?
